Senior Product Designer
At InvestNext, design isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about making them work beautifully. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll turn complex ideas into intuitive, scalable experiences that help our users move faster and feel confident doing it.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to translate insights into seamless interfaces, smooth interactions, and experiences that just make sense. You’ll help shape how we design, prototype, and test, bringing clarity to ambiguity and pushing for high-quality execution every step of the way.
If you're equal parts creative thinker and systems-level problem solver — and you get a thrill from turning user needs into elegant, functional designs — this role is for you.
Who we are
We’re a tight-knit, mission-driven design team that thrives on solving complex problems with clean, scalable solutions. Our users are highly analytical, so we design with clarity, utility, and precision in mind; but we care just as much about craft, quality, and the little details that make software feel good.
We move fast, iterate often, and work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to build tools that actually make life easier. If you’re energized by collaborative problem-solving, thoughtful systems, and the chance to shape a high-impact platform from the inside out, you’ll love it here.
In this role, you will
- Lead the end-to-end design process for a core product area with full ownership from early discovery through to polished handoff. As a key member of your sprint team, you’ll drive strategy and execution in step with Product and Engineering, shaping direction, unblocking progress, and ensuring every detail delivers on a cohesive, high-quality user experience.
- Evolve our design system by contributing reusable components, scalable patterns, and clear guidelines that support consistency across the platform.
- Deliver polished, accessible, and intuitive interfaces for both desktop and mobile experiences.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and ground your work in real needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on product strategy, define scope, and bring high-quality designs into production.
- Contribute to team rituals, design critiques, and documentation to level up our design culture and workflows.
- Ground your design decisions in real human insight. Connect directly with clients through one-on-one interviews and surveys to deeply understand their needs, uncover pain points, and validate assumptions early on.
- Measure and iterate on the success of your designs post-launch, using product analytics and user feedback to guide improvements.
If you’re right for this role, you
- Have 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a portfolio that showcases effective, user-centered design across complex systems
- Have a background in graphic design, web design, or other related field
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity, scoping MVPs, and advocating for user needs in a fast-moving environment.
- Bring experience in B2B SaaS, Fintech, or other highly structured, data-heavy environments
- Communicate your design decisions clearly to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong visual design skills, with an eye for usability, consistency, and craft
- Have working knowledge of tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Understand design systems like Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design
- Have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS (enough to collaborate with engineers effectively)
