Account Manager

As the primary point of contact for a broad customer base, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high customer satisfaction while maximizing revenue potential. The Account Manager will ensure timely renewals, proactively address churn risks, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

 

Who we are 

The CXAM team at InvestNext plays a vital role in fostering strong customer relationships, driving renewals, and expanding revenue through strategic upselling of ancillary services. We prioritize customer retention and engagement, recognizing that long-term relationships are essential to the sustained success and growth of InvestNext.

 

In this role, you will 

Drive Renewals:

  • Own the annual renewal process for All-In-One Suite customers, ensuring contracts are renewed promptly.
  • Proactively manage renewal pipelines, addressing potential obstacles to retention.

Expand Revenue:

  • Identify and execute upsell opportunities for ancillary services
  • Develop tailored value propositions and collaborate with Marketing and Sales for campaign execution.

Manage Relationships:

  • Provide light relationship management through periodic touchpoints like email check-ins and QBRs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers unlock the full value of their All-In-One Suite subscriptions.

Leverage Data and Tools:

  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track customer health, identify risks, and prioritize engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, renewals, and upsell activities.

Collaborate Across Teams:

  • Work with the CX, Product, and Support teams to address customer needs and improve the experience.
  • Share customer feedback to inform product enhancements and strategy.
 

If you’re right for this role, you 

  • Have 3+ years of experience in account management, renewals, or customer success.
  • Thrive in managing multiple accounts and can prioritize effectively.
  • Excel at identifying opportunities for renewals and upsells, backed by strong negotiation skills.
  • Are proficient in CRM tools like Salesforce and familiar with customer engagement platforms.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Are data-driven, organized, and results-oriented.

  • Renewals (55%)
    • Renewals remain the primary focus to maintain stability in revenue.
    • Achieve a 90+ renewal rate to achieve full credit for this component.
  • Upsells and Ancillary Services
 

Compensation 

We’re committed to paying fairly and competitively, and utilize market data as a starting point when developing total compensation for all roles. We consider skill requirements, role responsibilities, pay equity, and our company’s sustainability to develop our standardized salary bands across the company.

Salary

In addition to our robust benefits, cash compensation for this role is a combination of salary and performance-based bonuses. We believe in recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance with uncapped bonuses.

Base salary is determined with the consideration of experience and role expectations, in alignment with our salary bands. The salary for an Account Manager ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 per year for this mid level role. Additionally, on-target bonuses are $30,000 per year, with accelerators to reward exceeding performance targets. 

Equity Grant
